Visang Education Exports Digital English Learning Solution to Vietnam

[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Visang Education announced on the 4th that it will export a digital English learning solution developed based on the representative English learning content of Oxford University Press to Vietnam.

Visang Education signed a contract to supply a digital interactive English learning solution, created based on Oxford University Press's secondary English textbook OXFORD Discover Futures, to the Vietnamese education company ALAB.

The product Visang Education is exporting to Vietnam is a digital interactive English learning solution that combines the edutech platform AllviA and Oxford University Press's secondary English textbook OXFORD Discover Futures.

The two companies have been working closely to convert Oxford's elementary and secondary English content series into educational programs that can be loaded onto AllviA. Among these, Visang Education will first introduce the secondary English learning solution to the Vietnamese market.

The digital English learning solution features enabling teachers and students to utilize Oxford's high-quality English education content through interactive classes. It provides real-time synchronization between the teacher's electronic whiteboard and the student's tablet PC. In particular, through specialized video class functions, it allows selective conduction of face-to-face and non-face-to-face classes.

ALAB, which signed the contract with Visang Education, is a Vietnamese education company operating English, math, and science education programs using edutech for infants, young children, and elementary and middle school students. Currently, it operates eight directly managed learning centers in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Visang Education plans to gradually introduce the digital English learning solution locally in Vietnam in cooperation with ALAB. It is expected to successfully establish itself in Vietnam, where demand for high-quality English education is increasing.

Heo U-gun, Head of Visang Education's Global Company Group, said, "Through the digital class solution equipped with Oxford textbooks, which are high-quality English education content, on Visang Education's next-generation edutech platform AllviA, effective English education can be conducted," adding, "Starting with this export contract to Vietnam, we expect opportunities to expand further into other countries such as Southeast Asia and the Middle East."

Meanwhile, Visang Education has consecutively signed contracts to export to Vietnam, starting with the early childhood English program Wings in 2018, the elementary English program ELiF in 2019, and last year the edutech math learning program Math Alive.
