Industry-First Chef and Oriental Medicine Doctor Collaboration Gala Dinner on the 20th

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Lotte Hotel Seoul's Chinese restaurant Dorim announced on the 4th that it will hold a unique collaboration promotion called "Oksabu's Yonghan Bogam" featuring master Chinese chef Yeo Kyung-ok and star oriental medicine doctor Park Yong-hwan.


The promotion, running until the end of next month, features chef Yeo Kyung-ok creating the best seasonal health-boosting dishes using healthy ingredients recommended by Dr. Park Yong-hwan. The hotel stated that this collaboration is special as it is the first in the industry between a chef and an oriental medicine doctor, both leading experts and influencers in their respective fields.


Chef Yeo Kyung-ok, appointed as the head of Chinese cuisine at Lotte Hotel, is a master who has dedicated 45 years to Chinese cuisine and shares various recipes through her YouTube channel "Yeo Kyung-ok's Oksabu TV." Dr. Park Yong-hwan, an oriental medicine doctor, broadcaster, lecturer, and YouTuber running "Gangnam Heojun Park Yong-hwan TV," also provides valuable health information through multiple channels.


"Oksabu's Yonghan Bogam" can be experienced through special lunch and dinner courses as well as a gala dinner. The lunch course consists of six dishes, including the Chinese representative health dish Gobeop Buldodjang, which is simmered for over three hours with more than 12 ingredients, and whole abalone from Wando topped with a black soybean sauce made from premium fermented black soybean paste. The dinner course includes eight dishes such as seafood appetizer with mustard sauce, Gobeop Buldodjang, whole abalone with black soybean sauce, grilled sea cucumber, and Yuringi (fried chicken in vinegar sauce).


On the 20th, a gala dinner will be held where chef Yeo Kyung-ok and Dr. Park Yong-hwan will share good ingredients and health information along with health-boosting dishes. Guests can enjoy eight dishes paired with five types of wine. Reservations are limited to 40 people on a first-come, first-served basis and can be made via the Naver reservation page or by phone.
