KoAsia Participates in Semiconductor Expo... "Highlighting Semiconductor Platform Technology for Automotive Applications"

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] CoreAsia, a system semiconductor design solution company, will participate in the semiconductor exhibition 'SEDEX2022' held at COEX, Seoul for three days starting from the 5th.

SEDEX is the only semiconductor specialized exhibition in Korea that involves all sectors of the semiconductor industry ecosystem. This year marks its 24th edition. Through the exhibition organized by the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association (KSIA), visitors can experience advanced products and technologies in various fields such as system semiconductors and memory semiconductors. A total of 250 companies, including leading domestic and international IT companies such as Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, and Xiaomi, will participate.

CoreAsia, as an official DSP (Design Solution Partner) of Samsung Electronics Foundry, will showcase the largest exhibition booth among Samsung Electronics’ partners. At the exhibition, CoreAsia will introduce its semiconductor design capabilities and its in-house practical training program (GDEC) under the theme of 'Automotive Semiconductor (Automotive SoC) Platform.'

A company representative stated, "We plan to introduce our automotive semiconductor design technology, vehicle solution products from our IT parts subsidiary, and our global semiconductor distribution network." He added, "We will strengthen our position as a global semiconductor company with a one-stop solution business model covering semiconductor design, manufacturing, and distribution."

Furthermore, the representative emphasized, "We have completed preparations to preoccupy the automotive semiconductor market," and "We will enhance the development competitiveness of our subsidiaries to prove our capabilities in developing products related to Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Infotainment (IVI)."

CoreAsia operates the GDEC program to nurture its own workforce, training 60 to 100 new employees annually. Having recently completed the first training session successfully, the company will also hold a recruitment briefing session at SEDEX2022 to recruit for the second session.
