Seoul Metropolitan Autonomous Police Committee, 'Seoul Autonomous Police Calendar' Illustration Contest

Final Selection of 8 Works with a Prize of 3.5 Million Won Awarded

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Metropolitan Autonomous Police Committee announced on the 2nd that it will hold the "Seoul Autonomous Police Calendar Illustration Contest" from the 4th to the 24th, themed on the achievements of the Seoul autonomous police and the Seoul autonomous police that citizens expect.

This contest was prepared to confirm the image of the Seoul autonomous police that citizens desire through illustrations drawn directly by citizens and to increase citizens' interest and participation in the autonomous police system. Participants can express a friendly image of citizens and autonomous police working together, the on-site activities of traffic police such as children's traffic safety guidance, or other activities of the Seoul autonomous police that citizens wish to see.

The contest themes are "Achievements of the Seoul Autonomous Police" and "The Seoul Autonomous Police I Expect," and submissions are accepted as long as they relate to autonomous police duties. Applicants should submit four illustrations, one for each season (spring, summer, fall, winter), according to the theme.

The judging will consider thematic relevance, artistic quality, originality, sincerity, and applicability to select a total of eight final works, awarding a total prize of 3.5 million KRW and certificates. The awards are as follows: 1 Grand Prize winner (1 million KRW), 2 Excellence Prize winners (500,000 KRW each), and 5 Encouragement Prize winners (300,000 KRW each).
