[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jun-yi] As the decline in the resurgence of COVID-19 continues, the number of new confirmed cases nationwide reached the mid-20,000s by 9 PM on the 30th.


According to Seoul City and other local governments, from midnight to 9 PM on the same day, 25,900 people across 17 cities and provinces nationwide were confirmed to have COVID-19.


This is 1,732 fewer than the same time the previous day (27,632 cases).


It is 2,701 fewer than a week ago on the 23rd (28,601 cases), and 16,002 fewer than two weeks ago on the 16th (41,902 cases).


Based on the same time on Fridays, this is the lowest record in 12 weeks since the early resurgence on July 8 (19,400 cases).
