[Asia Economy Reporter Junyi Park] The Nuclear Safety and Security Commission announced on the 30th that it is currently conducting an audit of Hwang Yong-su, the president of the Korea Institute of Nuclear Nonproliferation and Control (KINAC).


The KINAC labor union reportedly raised allegations of workplace harassment against President Hwang. The union claimed, "President Hwang engaged in workplace harassment by making threatening remarks to employees, unfair personnel decisions, and abusing his power."


Earlier, the NSSC began the audit of President Hwang in early August. Regarding these allegations, President Hwang's side stated that he is currently in Vienna, Austria attending the IAEA General Conference, making it difficult to provide an accurate statement.
