'Gangneung KTX Station Gyeongnam Honorsville,' located in a non-regulated area and an ultra-station area just a '1-minute walk' from the KTX, officially began sales on the 30th.
The complex, situated in 852 Ponam-dong, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do, consists of one building with 4 basement floors and 24 above-ground floors, comprising 167 apartments with exclusive areas of 84㎡ and 126㎡ (△163 units of 84㎡ △4 penthouse units of 126㎡) and 32 officetel units ranging from 33㎡ to 62㎡. Move-in is scheduled for October 2025.
Located just a 1-minute walk from Gangneung KTX Station, this ultra-station area will feature a complex cultural space including a convention center, exhibition hall, MICE facilities, and a street mall through the station area development project. Additionally, transportation developments such as Gangneung-Busan (scheduled for 2023), Gangneung-Jejin Donghae Bukbu Line (scheduled for 2027), and Gangneung-Mokpo Gangho Axis High-Speed Railway (planned) are also in the pipeline.
The central commercial district around the station is densely packed with various medical facilities such as Gangneung City Health Center, Gangneung Goryeo Hospital, and Gangneung Dongin Hospital, as well as convenience facilities including Homeplus, E-Mart, Dongbu Market, Jungang Market, and CGV. Moreover, abundant green spaces such as Ponam Small Park, Malnanumteo Park, Hwabusang, and Gangneung Daenamcheon are provided around the complex. Gangneung Sports Complex and Gangneung Olympic Park are also nearby.
The future value is also attracting attention due to various favorable factors. In May, the National Assembly passed the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Special Act. As a result, the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province is scheduled to officially launch in June next year. On September 1st, Kim Jin-tae, Governor of Gangwon Province, visited Gangneung and announced that the construction of the second provincial office building would be included in the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Special Act and completed by June next year.
Within a 1km radius of the complex are elementary, middle, and high schools such as Gyodong Elementary School, Ponam Elementary School, Haslla Middle School, and Myeongryun High School.
Gangneung City is a non-regulated area where anyone aged 19 or older with a subscription to a housing subscription savings account for at least six months can apply for first-priority subscription, even multi-homeowners. Additionally, unlike the metropolitan area, there are no restrictions on re-winning or resale of pre-sale rights, making it highly valued for investment.
