The Power of Busan Medical Care to the World! ... Daedong Hospital Participates in Busan International Medical Tourism Convention

Daedong Hospital and Daedong University are operating experience booths at the '2022 Busan International Medical Tourism Convention'.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Daedong Hospital and Daedong University, affiliated with the Hwabong Academy school corporation, will participate in the '2022 Busan International Medical Tourism Convention' held for two days from the 30th at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1, 3A Hall in Busan.

The event, now in its 14th year, is hosted by Busan City and organized by the Busan Medical Industry Council.

This event is the largest since the COVID-19 pandemic, with medical institutions including Daedong Hospital, Busan National University Hospital, Dong-A University Hospital, Kosin University Hospital, and overseas medical officials and buyers from China, Mongolia, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, and other countries participating.

Daedong Hospital will start by participating in a welcome reception meeting overseas buyers visiting Busan in person for the first time in three years, followed by business consultations and agreement ceremonies for domestic and international stakeholders conducted by the International Medical Center’s dedicated coordinators.

Additionally, at the event venue, Daedong University will operate experience booths offering health consultations, body fat measurement experiences, oral hygiene examinations and oral health education, and hand-drip coffee brewing and sales.

A representative of Daedong Hospital said, “Medical tourism had temporarily slowed due to COVID-19, but we will make various efforts to promote Busan’s excellent medical infrastructure and beautiful tourist resources in line with the post-COVID-19 era.”
