Poster and Two Emoticon Categories: Submissions Accepted Until October 28
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Korea National Oil Corporation (KNOC) is holding a "Corporate Advertisement Poster and Emoticon Contest" from the 19th of this month until the 28th of next month.
This contest is organized to widely promote the corporate image of KNOC, which enhances national energy security through petroleum stockpiling projects, overseas crude oil imports, and domestic continental shelf development. It is divided into two categories: corporate advertisement posters under the theme "Korea National Oil Corporation as the Guardian of National Energy" and emoticon creation using the KNOC character Nubi.
Detailed information about the KNOC advertisement poster and emoticon contest can be found on the corporation’s website, blog, and Facebook. Citizens wishing to participate can submit advertisement posters or emoticons created with computer graphics via email by 6 PM on the deadline day.
KNOC will select and award winners in both categories after judging the submitted works: ▲ Grand Prize for 1 individual or team (prize money of 2 million KRW) ▲ Excellence Prize for 1 individual or team (prize money of 1 million KRW each) ▲ Encouragement Prize for 1 individual or team (prize money of 500,000 KRW each).
Last year, KNOC also held an "ESG-related Corporate Advertisement Poster Contest" and actively utilized the final selected works for corporate image promotion by posting them in media advertisements, YouTube, blogs, and more.
