Busan Port Authority Discusses Business Cooperation Plans with Busan Regional Tax Office.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Duyul] Busan Port Authority (BPA) held a meeting on the 29th with No Jeong-seok, Commissioner of the Busan Regional Tax Office, who visited the authority to discuss ways to cooperate on business matters.

BPA explained the current status of Busan Port, development strategies, and the progress of the Bukhang Redevelopment Project to Commissioner No, and requested organic cooperation on various BPA projects.

The Bukhang Redevelopment Project is the first case of redeveloping an aging port in Korea. BPA is promoting the project with the goal of revitalizing Busan Port's history and symbolism to create a world-class marine tourism attraction and returning the development profits to the citizens.

Jin Gyu-ho, Head of BPA's Management Headquarters, stated, “BPA will contribute to the national economy through sincere tax payments and cooperate with the Busan Regional Tax Office to strive for the successful redevelopment of Bukhang and the successful hosting of the 2030 Busan World Expo.”
