Eugene Investment & Securities Invites Youth Players and Orphanage Children to Tennis Tournament Youth tennis players are receiving gift kits

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Eugene Investment & Securities announced on the 30th that it conducted a social contribution program inviting youth tennis players and children from orphanages to watch matches at the 'Eugene Investment & Securities Korea Open Tennis Tournament 2022.'


On the first day of the main tournament on the 26th of this month, youth tennis players were invited. Thirty-three tennis hopefuls from Seoul, Ulsan, Jeonju, and other areas enjoyed watching the professional players' matches. The participants were composed of players aged 12 to 16, recommended through the Korea Tennis Association.


On the 27th, children from orphanages toured the tennis stadium and watched the matches. Seventeen children from facilities that expressed their willingness to participate, among the orphanages regularly sponsored by Eugene Investment & Securities, joined the event. Since 2014, Eugene Investment & Securities has operated a matching fund where employees donate 0.1% of their monthly salary, and the company matches the same amount to practice sharing together. Using this fund, since 2017, the company has been providing dairy products, snacks, and other items monthly to five orphanages.


The Eugene Investment & Securities Korea Open Tennis Tournament 2022 is a men's international professional tennis tournament organized by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and is the first ATP Tour held domestically in 26 years. Eugene Investment & Securities is the title sponsor of this tournament, held from the 24th of this month to October 2nd at Olympic Park in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
