Experience Kia's Design Philosophy in an Exhibition... 'Opposite United' Special Exhibition Held

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] A special exhibition where you can intuitively experience Kia's design philosophy and message will be held.

Kia announced on the 30th that it will hold a special exhibition event under the theme of its brand design philosophy, "Opposites United," which means "creative convergence of opposing concepts," at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (hereinafter DDP) in Seoul from the 1st to the 23rd of next month.

This special exhibition was prepared to show Kia Design's promise to continuously communicate with customers beyond simply designing, producing, and selling cars, aiming to improve customers' lives.

The exhibition will be held at Exhibition Hall 2 of the DDP Museum and consists of six exhibition halls that effectively explain Kia's design philosophy through videos, sound, and sculptures. Customers who wish to visit can make a reservation online in advance or enter sequentially after visiting the site. Admission is free, and tours are conducted in groups of about 15 people guided by a docent.

A Kia official said, "This exhibition is the first solo exhibition held by Kia Design," adding, "We hope that Kia's design philosophy will be conveyed to customers even a little through various works born from the passion for customers' lives."

Meanwhile, Kia plans to hold the "Kia DDP Design Forum" at the DDP Design Lab Open Lounge on November 17. The forum will feature Karim Habib, Executive Vice President and Head of Kia Design Center, who will engage in conversations with influencers about Kia's design philosophy as well as art, culture, and life in general.

In addition, Kia is sponsoring the large-scale light show "Seoul Light," held at the irregularly shaped DDP, and will present a giant media projection exhibition.

Kia plans to participate in "Seoul Light Winter," held from December 16 to January 1 of next year, showcasing Kia's giant media projection exhibition on the entire outer wall of DDP, continuing communication with customers.

Earlier, through the "Seoul Light Autumn" light show held on the wall of DDP Eoulrim Square until the 9th of next month, visitors can get a preview of the "Seoul Light Winter" exhibition.
