LG Innotek Obtains ISO Global Compliance Management System Certification

High Evaluation of Executives and Employees' Commitment to Compliance Management Practice

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Pyeonghwa] LG Innotek announced on the 30th that it has obtained the global compliance management system (ISO37301) certification. This certification is an international standard established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It evaluates and certifies whether a company has properly established a system to protect the organization and its employees from potential risks through legal compliance and ethical management practices. Along with the anti-corruption management system (ISO37001), it is considered a representative global compliance management system certification.

The scope of LG Innotek's certification covers a total of seven areas: anti-corruption, finance, corporate governance, human resources and labor, fair trade, information protection, and safety and environment. LG Innotek explained that the commitment of executives and employees to compliance management was highly evaluated. In June, LG Innotek shared the 'Fair Trade Voluntary Compliance Practice Policy,' which reflects its commitment and policies on fair trade compliance, with all employees. Earlier in May, it strengthened information protection activities by distributing the Personal Information Handler Work Guide to employees.
