[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam, attended the Changwon Young Entrepreneurs Network Day on the evening of the 29th.
At this event hosted by the Changwon Young Entrepreneurs Forum, also known as ‘Changwon Cheongsapo,’ Mayor Hong answered questions from the gathered young entrepreneurs and shared opinions on youth policies.
The young entrepreneurs asked questions regarding ▲ childbirth and childcare issues ▲ patents and technical consultations related to construction technology and other young entrepreneur technologies ▲ startup support projects, and Mayor Hong along with city hall staff responded together.

Regarding a young entrepreneur’s wish to have frequent meetings and discussions with the mayor about youth issues, Mayor Hong said, “We will secure a place by utilizing support projects for spaces where youth can meet, so please contact the Secretary’s Office or the youth department.”
He also responded to requests for special lectures for young entrepreneurs by saying, “I hope to share the experiences and knowledge accumulated so far.”

At the event, the executives of Cheongsapo, including Chairman Kim Hyungon, Vice Chairman Kim Jongmin, Senior Vice Chairman Oh Youngcheol, General Affairs Manager Sung Chanseok, and Accountant Jang Jihye, were introduced along with their operational aspirations.
Kim Hyungon, Chairman of Cheongsapo and operator of GT Construction, said, “For a city and country to thrive, the youth must thrive. Let us harness our infinite development capabilities and energy together to overcome greater challenges and move forward.”
On this day, Mayor Hong stated, “The future of Changwon and the future of South Korea lies with the youth,” adding, “We will implement related policies such as technology startups, job creation, establishment of complex cultural play spaces, and issues related to housing and workplaces to create an ecosystem for the youth.”
