From the 4th of next month, all existing free usage tickets will be removed, and users must purchase one of the available passes?1-year pass (20,000 KRW), 6-month pass (10,000 KRW), 30-day pass (5,000 KRW), or 1-day pass (1,000 KRW)?to use ‘Tabanna.’
As a result of the approximately three-month pilot operation since July, the number of members registered on the Tabanna dedicated app exceeded 3,281 as of September 26, and the total number of bicycle uses reached 8,862, receiving great interest and love from residents while fulfilling the role of a public bicycle.
The public bicycle ‘Tabanna’ operates year-round from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. with an unmanned rental and return system through the dedicated app.
Anyone aged 13 or older can use it, and the usage time per ride is 2 hours. If returned within 2 hours, re-rental is possible during operating hours.
The dedicated app can be downloaded and used from the Gijang-gun public bicycle website or from the Google Play Store and iOS App Store.
The rental stations where ‘Tabanna’ is installed are ▲Jukhyang Park in Jeonggwan-eup ▲Park near Jeonggwan Senior Welfare Center ▲Jeonggwan-eup Central Park ▲Park near Dalsan Bridge in Jeonggwan-eup ▲Park near Dareum Bridge in Jeonggwan-eup ▲Jwagwangcheon Embankment ▲Imrang Beach in Jangan-eup, totaling 7 locations.
Gijang-gun has additionally subscribed to the ‘Gijang-gun Public Bicycle Insurance’ for the safety of residents and visitors using the public bicycle ‘Tabanna,’ separate from the existing Gijang-gun bicycle insurance.
County Governor Jeong Jong-bok said, “We thank the residents who showed great interest during the pilot operation period, and we will do our best to prevent violations of the terms of use such as unauthorized bicycle abandonment outside rental stations and exceeding usage time during the pilot operation, so that everyone can use Tabanna in a healthy usage environment.”
