[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Kim Dae-jung, Superintendent of Jeonnam Education, visited Sorim School, a special school, on the 29th to directly inspect the site and spend time communicating with the educational community.

The visit was made to listen to the voices from the education field around the 100th day of Superintendent Kim’s inauguration. Superintendent Kim spent a meaningful time exploring ways to develop special education through communication among school staff, parents, and local residents.

In addition, he encouraged student athletes participating in the ‘4th Jeonnam Superintendent’s Cup Sports Competition for Students with Disabilities’ and checked their training and safety conditions.

Superintendent Kim Dae-jung stated, “I support the efforts of student athletes and coaches who train hard despite the difficult conditions caused by COVID-19,” and added, “We will spare no support to help students with disabilities nurture their challenges and dreams.”

He continued, “In the 4th term of the civilian administration of Jeonnam Education, we will strengthen special education so that students with disabilities can cultivate their future independently and develop their autonomous capabilities in life, and through this, create schools where the entire educational community is respected.”
