Busan International Rock Festival Heats Up! ... Daesun Joojo Creates 'Hidden Terrace' Food Court and Powder Room

Busan International Rock Festival Heats Up! ... Daesun Joojo Creates 'Hidden Terrace' Food Court and Powder Room 2019 Busan International Rock Festival.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan-based local company Daesun Brewery has prepared a variety of unique spaces to captivate visitors during the 2022 Busan International Rock Festival.

The Busan International Rock Festival, held on the 1st and 2nd at Samnak Ecological Park in Busan, is the longest-running rock music festival in Korea, first starting in 2000.

This year's rock festival features performances by Bastille, a British four-member alternative rock band, synth-pop duo HONNE, Hila Ruach from Israel, and Korea's representative rock bands Nell and Boohwal. Additionally, performances by Jannabi, Bosudong Cooler, Lucy, WOODS, ADOY, The Volunteers, Saesoyon, and Baek Yerin are scheduled.

Daesun Brewery operates the brand booth "Daesun Hidden Terrace" to enrich this year's Busan International Rock Festival.

Located to the left of the entrance to the Busan Rock Festival venue, the "Daesun Hidden Terrace" consists of a spacious resting area, a unique food court, a powder room, a branding zone, and a stage.

The food court offers dishes featuring Busan specialties. Visitors can enjoy pork soup (Dwaeji Gukbap), fish cake and pollock roe tacos, and five Daesun cocktails including Double Shot, Presso, Highball, Ocean Blue, and Rising.

A powder room is also provided so that festival-goers who spend long hours at the site can touch up their makeup and freshen up.

The branding zone showcases Daesun Brewery goods and past Daesun products, allowing visitors to get an overview of Daesun Brewery’s 92-year history, which has grown based in Busan.

A separate stage will feature trendy performances by famous DJ artists such as Tiger Disco and Diguru, delighting the audience’s ears.

Daesun Brewery sponsored 270 million KRW for the Busan International Rock Festival through an annual sponsorship agreement with the Busan Cultural Tourism Festival Organizing Committee.

Daesun Brewery CEO Jo Woo-hyun said, “We are pleased that a representative Busan company and festival can come together to deliver fresh enjoyment,” adding, “We hope many people visit the rock festival full of diverse attractions and the Daesun Hidden Terrace.”
