Gochang-gun Promotes 'Hometown Love Donation Program' at Moyangseong Festival

[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jae-gil] Jeonbuk Gochang-gun will set up a 'Hometown Love Donation System Promotion Booth' at the '49th Moyangseong Festival' opening on the 30th and promote the policy.

According to the county on the 29th, the Hometown Love Donation System is a system where residents who have left their hometown or residents from other regions voluntarily donate to the relevant area, receive a tax deduction, and are provided with return gifts.

Residents of Gochang-gun can donate to all local governments except Gochang-gun and Jeonbuk Province, and conversely, all citizens who are not residents of Gochang-gun can donate to Gochang-gun.

The county will inform Gochang residents and expatriates visiting the Moyangseong Festival about the system of revitalizing the local economy through the Hometown Love Donation System, tax deductions for donations, and the provision of return gifts.

They will also conduct a survey on preferred return gifts to be used when selecting return gifts in the future.

County Governor Shim Deok-seop said, "The success of the Hometown Love Donation System will not only help expand local finances but also greatly contribute to revitalizing the local economy, becoming a driving force for Gochang-gun to become a happy and vibrant city."
