Emphasizing Brand Image That Upholds Basics with the Keyword 'Ansim'
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Seoyoon] Hyundai Steel announced on the 29th that it has expanded the application scope of its premium construction steel brand ‘H CORE’ from seismic steel to construction steel in general.
According to Hyundai Steel, the existing H CORE was limited to some construction steels applicable to seismic design, such as rebar and shaped steel, but the newly introduced H CORE has expanded its range to include thick plates, steel pipes, hot-rolled steel sheets, and cold-rolled steel sheets, allowing application across all construction fields including civil engineering, architecture, and plants. H CORE is a seismic steel brand first introduced by a domestic steel company in November 2017.
The new H CORE will selectively apply only to products that meet specific internal standards such as weldability, corrosion resistance, impact resistance, high ductility, and eco-friendliness, thereby strengthening its premium brand image compared to general products.
Hyundai Steel has put forward the slogan ‘Steel with Safety, Reliable H CORE’ to emphasize that the new H CORE is the highest-grade steel that can be chosen with the utmost confidence based on safety.
Additionally, to effectively convey the image of a product that adheres to the fundamentals of H CORE, Hyundai Steel plans to communicate with various concepts that resonate not only with the general public as end users but also with customers engaged in all construction fields such as design, manufacturing, and construction.
To enhance efficient information delivery and customer accessibility regarding H CORE, Hyundai Steel has launched a dedicated brand website instead of using the existing company homepage.
Through the brand website, customers can check detailed information and related materials about products applying the H CORE brand, and an interactive communication channel will be established to operate a more effective customer support program.
A Hyundai Steel official said, “We hope H CORE will be recognized as the highest-grade construction steel brand that customers can choose with the greatest confidence,” adding, “We will continue to do our best to be loved as a representative brand of Korea.”
Various contents including promotional videos of the new H CORE can be found on Hyundai Steel’s official YouTube account, Instagram, and the H CORE brand page. These include short videos with B-grade sensibility and content that resonates with the MZ generation.
