Mokpo Muan Sinan Livestock Cooperative Youth Livestock Association Conducts Livestock Education

Learning Self Intravenous Injection and Plaster Cast Treatment Expected to Reduce Livestock Management Costs

Mokpo Muan Sinan Livestock Cooperative Youth Livestock Association Conducts Livestock Education

[Sinan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-kyung] The Jeonnam Mokpo Muan Sinan Livestock Cooperative conducted self-administered vascular injection training and calf plaster bandage treatment training for youth livestock association members over two days starting from the 19th.

This training, the third official activity following self-artificial insemination education, was held at the Green Hanwoo Town 3rd-floor banquet hall located in Muan-eup. After theoretical education, practical training was conducted at the Mokpo Muan Sinan Livestock Cooperative’s live cattle farm using actual Hanwoo cattle.

These consistent practical trainings serve as a good example by enabling young livestock farmers, who have recently started in the livestock industry, to acquire technical know-how early, develop problem-solving skills, and foster the development of successor livestock farmers and the establishment of a stable livestock industry foundation.

A cooperative official stated, “This training was planned to contribute to reducing management costs by providing early education on livestock management methods to young livestock farmers who will lead our regional livestock industry, and to serve as a venue for harmony among members.” He added, “Currently, there is great enthusiasm, with many young livestock farmers waiting to join the youth livestock association.”

He continued, “We will strive to recruit additional members so that more young livestock farmers can receive education and grow into experts.”

Meanwhile, the youth livestock association was launched last June to help young livestock farmers who will lead the development of our regional livestock industry acquire livestock feeding management skills and exchange information. Members actively share feeding management know-how through photos and documents, exchange opinions, and work together with cooperative staff to develop effective breeding techniques daily.
