Samsung Electronics Meets with Kazakhstan President... Support for Busan Expo Bid

On the 29th, according to Samsung Electronics, Lee In-yong, Head of CR, delivered the keynote speech at the "Digital Bridge Forum" in Astana, Kazakhstan, introducing the future innovations brought by new technologies such as digital technology for realizing smart cities under the theme "From Smart Home to Smart City: Korea's Experience."

The "Digital Bridge Forum," held over two days on the 28th and 29th, is the largest IT event in Central Asia, attended by key figures including the President of Kazakhstan, the Minister of Digital Development, and CEOs of domestic and international IT companies.

During his meeting with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, Lee discussed Samsung Electronics' educational support related to the Kazakh government's IT professional training policies, the achievements of digitalization cooperation among various ministries, and future plans.

He also requested the Kazakh government's continued interest and support for hosting the "2030 Busan World Expo." Samsung Electronics is participating in the "2030 Busan World Expo Bid Committee" and is actively involved in bid activities.
