Special Exhibition "Hanbok - The Silk Garment Where Flowers Bloom" at Incheon Airport Museum

[Asia Economy Reporter Seo Mideum] The special exhibition "Hanbok - Silk Clothes with Blossoming Flowers" opens on the 30th at the Incheon Airport Museum, located on the west side of the boarding terminal at Incheon International Airport. Hosted by the National Museum of Korea and the National Daegu Museum, the event features "Hanbok" from the collection of the National Daegu Museum.

The special exhibition showcases a variety of colorful jeogori (jackets), skirts, hats, and accessories to highlight the excellence of Hanbok and help visitors understand the basic components of Hanbok as traditional clothing.

The exhibition is divided into three main themes: "Hongsaek Migam (紅色美感)" presenting bridal attire (hwalot), "Uigwan Jeongje (衣冠整齊)" featuring men's and women's Hanbok, and "Hyeonghyeong Saeksaek (形形色色)" introducing women's jeogori.

The National Museum of Korea stated, "Through this special exhibition, the Incheon Airport Museum will serve as a cultural and artistic space that evokes happy memories of traveling in Korea for visitors arriving at the airport. We hope that through viewing cultural heritage provided by the National Museum of Korea and the National Daegu Museum, the beauty and uniqueness of excellent Korean culture will be remembered for a long time."

The exhibition runs until February 28 of next year.
