Sales of Heating Equipment Increased 7.5 Times, Sales of Warm Air Heaters Increased 6 Times

According to Electronic Land on the 29th, sales of electric heaters and warm air fans from the 1st to the 25th of this month surged by 7.5 times and 6 times respectively compared to the same period last year. Typically, sales of heating appliances become active in late autumn when the weather suddenly turns cold, so the sharp increase in sales from early September is an unusual phenomenon.
An Electronic Land official stated, “Abnormal weather patterns have been continuously occurring regardless of the season, so consumers seem to be more sensitive to weather changes than in the past,” adding, “The variety of heating appliances has also increased compared to before, and it is expected that the trend of placing heating devices in every room, known as bangbangnanbang, will take hold during winter.”
