[Asia Economy Reporter Eunju Lee] The People Power Party's Central Ethics Committee began a full meeting at the National Assembly on the afternoon of the 28th.

At the full meeting of the Ethics Committee on this day, disciplinary reviews will be conducted for Representative Kwon Eun-hee, who advocated against the Police Bureau and called for the impeachment of Minister of the Interior and Safety Lee Sang-min; Representative Kim Seong-won, who made inappropriate remarks at a flood relief volunteer site; and Representative Kim Hee-guk, who has been indicted on suspicion of "splitting campaign donations." Representatives Kim Seong-won and Kwon Eun-hee will attend this full Ethics Committee meeting to provide explanations.

It has been reported that the additional disciplinary proposal against former leader Lee Jun-seok was not included on the agenda. It is also known that former leader Lee was not requested to attend by the Ethics Committee. However, it cannot be ruled out that during the meeting, Ethics Committee Chairperson Lee Yang-hee may raise the disciplinary discussion against former leader Lee Jun-seok for consideration.

Earlier, on the 18th, the Ethics Committee held an emergency meeting and initiated additional disciplinary procedures against former leader Lee Jun-seok for making critical remarks such as "sheep's head, dog meat" and "new military regime" about President Yoon Seok-yeol and others.
