[Asia Economy Reporter Eunju Lee] On Thursday the 29th, under the influence of a high-pressure system over the West Sea, the entire country will be mostly clear, while Jeju Island will be mostly cloudy.
With the daily temperature difference reaching up to 15 degrees Celsius in some areas, the transitional season weather will continue.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 27th, the morning low temperatures on the 28th are forecasted to be between 12 and 19 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 24 and 29 degrees Celsius. This is similar to the average (morning lows 12?20°C, daytime highs 24?27°C).
During the day, surface temperatures rise, then rapidly drop around sunset, repeating this pattern. Therefore, the temperature difference between day and night will be around 10 degrees Celsius. Especially in eastern Gyeonggi, inland Gangwon, inland Chungcheong, and northern inland Gyeongbuk, the daily temperature difference will widen to about 15 degrees Celsius.
The expected minimum temperatures in major cities are Seoul 16°C, Incheon 17°C, Chuncheon 14°C, Gangneung 17°C, Daejeon 14°C, Daegu 15°C, Jeonju 15°C, Gwangju 16°C, Busan 18°C, and Jeju 21°C. The maximum temperatures are expected to be Seoul 27°C, Incheon 24°C, Chuncheon 27°C, Gangneung 27°C, Daejeon 27°C, Daegu 28°C, Jeonju 27°C, Gwangju 28°C, Busan 27°C, and Jeju 26°C.
On Jeju, some areas may experience raindrops less than 0.1 mm until 6 a.m. According to the Korea Environment Corporation under the Ministry of Environment, fine dust levels are expected to be 'normal' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.
