'Mid-sized Company First Step Support Policy Briefing' Held
At the 'Support Policy Briefing for Mid-sized Companies' held on the 27th, Lee Ho-jun, Executive Vice President of the Korea Federation of Mid-sized Enterprises, is delivering the opening remarks.
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Federation of Medium-sized Enterprises announced on the 28th that it held the 'First Step Support Policy Briefing for Medium-sized Enterprises' jointly with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
The briefing held on the 27th was organized to share dedicated support projects and success know-how for newly grown medium-sized enterprises from small and medium enterprises and prospective medium-sized enterprises.
Six medium-sized enterprise support organizations, including the Korea Federation of Medium-sized Enterprises, Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, KDB Industrial Bank, Export-Import Bank of Korea, and Korea Trade Insurance Corporation, along with Samjong KPMG, shared sector-specific projects and strategies for responding to tax issues for medium-sized enterprises.
The Federation introduced projects supporting the resolution of job mismatches, recruitment of excellent personnel, and strengthening employee capabilities, and explained stage-by-stage digital transformation support, business transition, and business restructuring strategy design projects, which are core to new growth engines for medium-sized enterprises.
The Federation and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy also opened an integrated consultation window on the 'Medium-sized Enterprise Information Plaza' website to increase the utilization of support policies for medium-sized enterprises and continuously collect ideas for system improvement.
Lee Ho-jun, Executive Vice Chairman of the Federation, said, "Spreading high-quality support policies and systems that underpin the continuous growth of medium-sized enterprises is the most fundamental mission of the Federation," adding, "We will do our best to build a policy environment that truly helps medium-sized enterprises by visiting anywhere to explain and listening to better improvement plans."
