[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Yulchon Chemical announced on the 28th that it has signed a supply contract worth 1.4872 trillion KRW for aluminum pouches used in lithium-ion battery (LIB) manufacturing with Ultium Cells.
This amount corresponds to 276.0% of last year's consolidated sales, and the contract period is from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2028.
