[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] The 13th INK (Incheon K-pop) Concert, a representative Korean Wave concert in Korea, will be held on the 1st of next month at 7 p.m. at the main stadium of Incheon Munhak Stadium.
The INK Concert, held face-to-face for the first time in four years due to COVID-19 and African swine fever, will feature 11 top-tier K-pop artist groups including Mamamoo, Moonbin & Sanha, VIVIZ, and Golden Child. The MCs will be Golden Child's Bomin and VIVIZ's Eunha.
To attract overseas tourists, inbound travel agencies have launched concert-linked packages, expecting more than 5,000 overseas visitors, and Incheon citizens can watch the concert for free.
Before the performance, at the North Gate Plaza of Munhak Stadium, side events such as K-pop random play dance, a mini fan meeting with the three-member girl group 'Rumble J', cover dance club performances, and photo zones will be prepared.
Additionally, newly planned Korean cultural experience programs such as K-ART experiences (nail art) and idol MBTI tests will be showcased.
The main performance will be broadcast live worldwide through YouTube's 'ALL THE K-POP' and Naver TV, both online and offline. Tickets can be reserved for free on Ticketlink, and on-site ticketing will also be available on the day of the event.
Min Minhong, president of the Incheon Tourism Organization, said, "The 13th INK Concert is Korea's longest-running representative Korean Wave concert and was selected as grade A, the highest rating, in the K-pop concert support project sponsored by the Korea Tourism Organization this year. We hope that the INK Concert will continue to serve as a foothold for the spread of K-culture."
