The total length of the ten trails amounts to 21.54 km. Ahead of this large-scale opening, the Royal Tombs and Relics Headquarters has renovated some sections. A new oak tree forest path was created behind the royal tomb in Yeonsangunmyo, and deck stairs were installed at Seolleung and Jeongneung in Seoul to provide a comfortable viewing environment. The opening hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. next month, and from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in November. The sites will be closed on Mondays. A representative from the Royal Tombs and Relics Headquarters said, "We are opening the trails until late autumn in November so that visitors can enjoy the autumn foliage in the city for a longer time," adding, "We will also do our best to prevent safety accidents, including forest fires."
