Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Seeks Innovative Preliminary Social Enterprises

Benefits Provided Such as Business Model Development and Commercialization Support

On the 28th, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that it will accept applications for the "Culture, Sports and Tourism-type Preliminary Social Enterprises" until the 24th of next month. This project aims to discover and nurture social enterprises that solve social problems through innovative business models. Once designated, applicants are granted eligibility to receive support such as job creation, hiring of professional personnel, and business development expenses. Benefits also include company diagnosis, certification conversion, customized management consulting, and support for business model development and commercialization. So far, 165 companies have been designated.

To apply, applicants must meet four major requirements: organizational form, conducting business activities, realization of social objectives, and social use of profits. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will review documents, conduct on-site inspections, and hold a review committee evaluation, with results announced in December. For more details, please refer to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism website.
