Providing Customized Information to Urban Residents Hoping for Return-to-Farming and Rural Settlement to Attract Population
[Gurye=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yuk Miseok] Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Sun-ho) announced that it will participate in the Jeollanam-do Return to Farming and Fishing Villages Hometown Love Expo held at the aT Center in Yangjae-dong, Seoul, from September 29 to October 1.
The Jeollanam-do Return to Farming and Fishing Villages Hometown Love Expo is an event hosted by Jeollanam-do with the participation of 21 cities and counties, providing various information on returning to farming and fishing villages through city and county-specific promotion halls, policy consultations, hometown association invitation briefings, and exhibitions of agricultural specialties.
Gurye-gun plans to conduct recruitment for participants in the 2023 Residential Agricultural Startup Support Center, briefings and performance presentations on return to farming and fishing village attraction projects, policy explanations for return to farming and fishing villages invited by the Gurye hometown association, and online and offline consultations on returning to farming and fishing villages.
An official from the county said, "We hope that urban residents interested in returning to farming and fishing villages will visit this expo, obtain useful information through consultations and policy briefings, and decide to settle in Gurye."
