Corentec CEO Trio Buys Company Shares... Aiming to Enhance Shareholder Value

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Corentec, a specialized artificial joint company (CEOs Seon Doohun, Seon Seunghun, Seon Kyunghun), has taken steps to enhance shareholder value through the acquisition of treasury shares by its three CEOs.

Corentec announced on the 28th that from the 19th to the 27th, the three CEOs and a related party, Seon Choonghun, acquired treasury shares. Through on-market purchases, the three CEOs newly acquired a total of 20,733 shares, and the related party Seon Choonghun acquired 8,551 shares, with a total purchase amount of approximately 300 million KRW.

As a result, CEO Seon Doohun's holdings increased from 691,008 shares to 698,788 shares, CEO Seon Seunghun's from 211,102 shares to 218,102 shares, and CEO Seon Kyunghun's from 239,914 shares to 245,907 shares.

In February, the three CEOs also led an on-market purchase of 17,279 treasury shares. The company stated, "Through the periodic and steady on-market purchases of shares by the three CEOs, we aim to demonstrate our commitment to stabilizing management control."

Corentec continues its growth momentum, achieving its best-ever performance in the second quarter of this year in its core artificial joint business. In July, through the acquisition of 'Sun Healthcare International,' the company entered the customized health management service and U.S. surgery center business, and is preparing to leap forward as a comprehensive healthcare company by diversifying its business, including expanding into the implant prosthetics business.

A Corentec official said, "The recent consecutive treasury share purchases aim to boost the stock price and strengthen responsible management, as well as to show confidence in our future growth," adding, "We will continue to make steady efforts to enhance shareholder value and stabilize management."
