According to the county on the 28th, the gender-responsive budgeting system is a system that analyzes and evaluates existing budgets to ensure that men and women receive benefits equally without discrimination by considering the effects on both genders during the budget formulation and execution process.
In this forum, to resolve misunderstandings, the main contents of the gender-responsive budgeting system were explained in detail, and discussions were held on improving performance and development plans through an analysis of the current status of gender-responsive budgeting in Gochang-gun.
Gochang-gun council members, team leaders in charge of tasks, and officials who play a leading role in policy participated to consider the difficulties of gender-responsive budgeting and practical operation methods.
Council members Jo Mingyu and Oh Sehwan, who participated in the forum, said, “The county council will also increase interest in gender-responsive budgeting so that it becomes a system that residents can feel.”
