hy, 24-Hour Unmanned Store 'Predit Shop' Opens

Store management handled directly by Fresh Manager... Commission paid based on sales amount to promote income increase

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] hy announced on the 28th that it will open a new sales channel called 'Predit Shop.'

Predit Shop is an unmanned store operating 24 hours a day. While hy has operated pop-up stores for some brands, this is the first official offline store opening under the Predit brand. hy planned this to expand contact points with customers who usually find it difficult to meet Fresh Managers face-to-face. It is also expected to improve the recognition of the online mall 'Predit.'

The first store is located in Yangcheon-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul. Among the approximately 1,400 items handled by Predit, about 200 popular products such as dairy products, meal kits, and salads are selected and sold. Health functional foods, daily necessities, and pet-related products are also available for purchase. To assist reasonable purchasing, product ratings and reviews from the online mall Predit are displayed on electronic price tags. Limited edition goods featuring the recently introduced original character 'Yaku' are also available.

Predit Shop uses a self-service kiosk where customers make payments themselves. From 6 PM to 9 AM the next day, entry is possible via credit card or facial recognition. The entire store is monitored through a dozen closed-circuit (CCTV) cameras, and a security company dispatch service minimizes any potential customer inconvenience.

It is also expected to contribute to increasing Fresh Managers' income. Fresh Managers take turns managing and displaying products in the store and receive commissions based on sales amounts. hy is continuously promoting an increase in Fresh Managers' income to enhance delivery competitiveness, and the new business 'Predit Delivery Service,' which started in earnest in April, is in the same context. When delivering other companies' products, the designated delivery fee is paid to the Fresh Managers.
