Operation on Powell Street from October 7 to 28
[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Cha] Samsung Electronics announced on the 28th that it will operate a Galaxy Experience Center in San Francisco, USA, in celebration of the 'Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) 2022' to be held on the 12th of next month.
The Galaxy Experience pop-up store, opening from the 7th to the 28th of next month (local time) on 111 Powell Street in San Francisco, is designed for developers, media, partners, and consumers from around the world visiting San Francisco for SDC. Visitors can directly experience innovative features of various products including the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Fold4, Watch5 series, and Buds2 Pro at the store. Starting from the 12th of next month, visitors will also be able to experience Samsung Electronics' SmartThings platform, which connects smartphones, TVs, and home appliances, as well as the next-generation Galaxy software One UI 5.
Samsung Electronics previously opened Galaxy Experience Centers in the Meatpacking District of New York, USA, and Piccadilly Circus in London, UK, in connection with the Galaxy Unpacked event held on August 10th (local time). Over 100,000 visitors attended the centers, which operated for a total of 21 days.
Since its inception in 2013, SDC will be held simultaneously online and offline this year at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, USA. At this event, Samsung Electronics plans to introduce an advanced SmartThings platform. It will also share updates on software, services, and platforms related to collaboration plans with developers to provide next-generation connected experiences.
Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Han Jong-hee is scheduled to present Samsung's vision for providing a smarter user experience during the keynote speech at 10 a.m. (local time) on the 12th of next month.
