Bayside-Metis Fails to Meet Some Sale Conditions

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Diageo announced on the 27th that it has terminated the conditional agreement to sell the Windsor division, including the W series, to the Bayside Private Equity-Metis Private Equity consortium (Bayside-Metis).

The termination of this agreement occurred because Bayside-Metis failed to meet some of the conditions of the sale contract announced on March 25.

Windsor Global will continue to operate the Windsor business as an independent entity separate from Diageo Korea's international spirits and beer business.
