[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Kiturami Co., Ltd. announced on the 27th that it will launch the 'Kiturami Camping Mat Ondol,' the first in the domestic industry to combine space engineering and new material heating technology.

The Kiturami Camping Mat Ondol applies the 'Hitsel Insulation Material,' jointly developed with the insulation technology team of the Nuri rocket satellite, blocking cold air rising from the floor, reducing heat loss emitted downward, and providing continuous radiant heat only upward.

Hitsel insulation material is a newly developed new material adapted to ground conditions based on the multi-layer film insulation (MLI, Multi Layer Insulation) technology that protects satellites from rapid temperature changes in space environments. In particular, the heating element, which plays a key role in heating, applies the 'Silver Wire Network Planar Heating' technology, where ultra-fine wires made of silver (Ag), a material with excellent thermal conductivity, are entangled at the micrometer (one-millionth of a meter) scale.

The entire mat uses warm planar heating technology, which, unlike conventional heating wire methods, prevents fire risks by avoiding disconnection and sparks, and maintains normal heating even if part of the heating element is damaged after prolonged use.

Thanks to the excellent thermal conductivity unique to silver (Ag) material, it quickly reaches high temperatures with low power consumption (80W), uses low voltage (mat DC 24V) for enhanced safety, and has obtained electromagnetic field environment certification (EMF), eliminating concerns about electromagnetic waves. Additionally, far-infrared rays that help improve immunity are emitted, delivering warmth deep into the skin, and it has passed 800,000 bending tests, demonstrating excellent durability.

The temperature controller is made with a flame-retardant hard case with excellent durability suitable for camping environments, allowing precise temperature control from 25℃ to 45℃ in 1℃ increments.

Notably, it is the industry's first to feature a hybrid function that allows two mats to be connected and expanded with a single temperature controller. By adding an extension cable and mat as optional specifications, it can be used as a double size according to the camping environment, providing heating effects in a wider space.

In addition, the Kiturami Camping Mat Ondol has completed various certifications and tests for safer use, including △ certification as a textile product for children, △ radon and thoron safety tests, △ tests confirming the absence of eight harmful substances, and △ seven safety devices.

A Kiturami Boiler official stated, "Following the Kiturami 3rd generation carbon mat, which innovatively improved the shortcomings of the 1st generation electric mat and 2nd generation water mat, the Kiturami Camping Mat Ondol, combined with space engineering and new material technology, is expected to lead the trend in the camping heating mat market."
