Official Sponsor Participation in 'ATP Korea Open' Held Domestically After 26 Years
Experience Opportunities Offered Through 'FILA Tennis Clubhouse' Featuring History and New Tennis Products

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] FILA has officially sponsored the ATP tennis tournament held in Korea, kicking off its tennis marketing in earnest this fall.

FILA Korea announced on the 27th that it will participate as the official apparel sponsor for the 'ATP Eugene Investment & Securities Korea Open Tennis Tournament 2022,' held at the Seoul Olympic Park Tennis Courts until the 2nd of next month. This tournament is the first held in Korea in 26 years since 1996 and is hosted by the ATP and the Korea Tennis Association (KTA).

FILA has set up a special space called the 'FILA Tennis Clubhouse' at the tournament venue. Visitors can get an overview of the brand's history and archives related to tennis, as well as check out the newly released tennis wear and tennis shoes for this season on-site.

The FILA Tennis Clubhouse is decorated entirely in white, inspired by the brand's representative tennis wear line, 'Whiteline.' It exhibits match outfits worn by FILA-sponsored tennis players, including FILA ambassador Bj?rn Borg, the legend who won Wimbledon five consecutive times in the 1970s and 80s, during their participation in the four major tournaments, allowing visitors to experience FILA's tennis heritage. Additionally, a photo zone combined with social media (SNS) events is operated, and various tennis apparel, shoes, and equipment, including Speed Serve, will be sold at the clubhouse.

Moreover, a signing event with Kwon Soon-woo, Korea's top tennis player and FILA's global tennis sponsored athlete, is scheduled at the FILA Tennis Clubhouse on the day. Players sponsored by FILA at the global group level, including Kwon Soon-woo and Mackenzie McDonald (USA), are also participating in this tournament, wearing FILA match outfits and tennis shoes. FILA currently sponsors over 20 world-class players.
