To inherit tradition and craftsmanship, DAKS sourced all fabrics and accessories from European manufacturers with a long history. Collaborating with a Northern Italy factory that has presented innovative functional fabrics with DAKS for 40 years, the collection uses lightweight fabrics to maintain a light wearing feel while effectively blocking wind and cold during transitional seasons, ensuring excellent warmth. Additionally, by partnering with leather processing specialists across Europe, luxurious details such as leather collars finished by artisans and gold-plated button mil buckles were applied.
Moreover, the core design of the Highlander collection, quilting, employs the 'sandwich quilting' technique. Sandwich quilting, a high-spec method that stitches the fabric and padding inside and out together, minimizes the lining's volume and allows the outerwear to naturally follow the body's pattern, resulting in a lightweight and excellent wearing comfort.
