School Says "Dress Code Criticism of Teachers May Constitute Gender Discrimination"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Juri] A video of a Canadian teacher wearing huge artificial breasts while teaching has spread online, sparking controversy. The teacher is known to be a transgender individual.
On the 25th (local time), according to the British Daily Mail and others, a video showing a teacher in Ontario, Canada, wearing large breast implants while teaching is rapidly spreading through social media (SNS) and other platforms.
The video was recorded on the 15th during a technology class at Trafalgar High School in Oakville, Ontario.
In the video, the teacher is conducting a class using machines to cut wood, etc. At this time, it is confirmed that the teacher’s breast implants are so large and heavy that they extend down to the abdomen.
The video has attracted attention with over 1 million views and was even mentioned on the American conservative talk show "Tucker Carlson Tonight." The host, Carlson, criticized, saying, "Children are being inappropriately used for adults’ sexual fantasies."
Nevertheless, Trafalgar School recently sent a notice to parents stating, "We have reviewed the video," and added, "Pointing out that the teacher’s attire is inappropriate could be considered gender discrimination."
They continued, "Gender identity and gender expression must be protected," and "We want to take this opportunity to once again emphasize our commitment to creating an inclusive and equitable learning and working environment for all students and staff in our community."
The local school board also issued a statement to the local media with a similar message. The chairperson of the school board said, "The teacher in the video began identifying as female last year," and "We are creating safety plans to protect the gender rights of teachers."
