[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] Doosan Robotics is opening an education center and embarking on training specialized personnel in line with the growth trend of the collaborative robot market.
Doosan Robotics announced on the 26th that it has partnered with CN Robot, a collaborative robot system integration (SI) specialist company and partner, and opened Korea's first 'Doosan Robotics Official Education Center' in Daejeon.
The newly opened official education center will conduct regular training based on Doosan Robotics' educational curriculum and guidelines. In addition to training specialized personnel in collaborative robots, it will provide professional education to the general public without background knowledge of robots, contributing to job creation in robot-related fields.
Doosan Robotics plans to expand the official education center to major regions nationwide as well as to the United States and Europe, and to develop and offer various educational curriculums covering collaborative robots and robots in general.
A Doosan Robotics official said, "Interest and demand for collaborative robots are rapidly increasing, making it urgent to secure related specialized personnel," adding, "We hope that the opening of this official education center will help alleviate the shortage of collaborative robot specialists and create jobs."
