Homeplus Hosts Children's Environmental Drawing Contest Awards Ceremony... "Developing Package Products Featuring Winning Works"

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Homeplus e-Paran Foundation announced on the 26th that it held the '20th e-Paran Children's Environmental Drawing Contest Awards Ceremony.'

This contest, under the theme "Protect the sea, sky, and forest suffering from global warming and climate change," was held for about a month starting in June. A total of over 13,000 children participated, and 400 winning works were selected.

For the first time in three years since COVID-19, the event was held in person, and for the first time, package products featuring the winning drawings were developed in connection with the environmental drawing contest. Additionally, a portion of the sales from these products is donated to the e-Paran Foundation to support education for underprivileged groups and aid children with leukemia and pediatric cancer.

Lee Jae-hoon, President of Homeplus, said, "I am pleased that through this environmental drawing contest awards ceremony, we can share the warm hearts of children for the Earth together," and added, "ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management is not grandiose; it is ultimately about caring for those around us and working together. Homeplus will continue to take the lead in this effort."
