To Gain Free Entry to a Famous US Amusement Park, Going This Far

Disguised as a Toddler to Enter with a Stroller
Video Reaches Over 8.7 Million Views in 6 Days

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyunjung] The disgraceful behavior of a family who entered a world-famous American amusement park for free by placing a child in a stroller has become widely known through an online video.

Foreign media such as The Independent and The New York Post recently introduced a video that sparked heated debate after being posted on TikTok. The 22-second short video has a caption at the bottom that reads, "When the amusement park admission fee increases."

In the video, two women push a stroller and pass through the entrance gate. The stroller's canopy is down, and the child sucking their finger is covered with a blanket, so their appearance is not clearly visible. The gate staff briefly looks at the child in the stroller, smiles, and allows them to enter.

The scene that follows is a twist. After safely passing through the amusement park entrance, the child gets out of the stroller and stands upright on the ground, dressed in a full princess dress, a proper "child." The title of this video is "There is a poor child in the stroller."

The admission fee for the amusement park featured in this video starts at $109 (approximately 154,000 KRW) per day for those aged 10 and above, and $104 (approximately 147,000 KRW) for children aged 3 to 9. However, admission is free for children under 3 years old.

As of the 6th day after posting, on the 25th, the video has recorded 8,706,000 views. Along with the high number of views, netizens' opinions are diverse.

Some responded, "My parents made me do the same," while others said, "The entrance gate staff knew but let it slide." There are also those who defend the protagonists in the video, saying, "I don't blame them because the amusement park admission fee is too expensive," while negative opinions such as "They have no shame" and "Making children lie" are not insignificant. Meanwhile, a woman who appears to be a member of the group that filmed this video revealed in a comment, "This was the funniest thing we have ever seen, so we decided to share it so you can laugh too."
