LG CNS Collaborates with Google Cloud to Accelerate DX

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Choi] LG CNS announced on the 25th that it has signed a business agreement with Google Cloud to accelerate digital transformation (DX). This is the first time Google Cloud has signed a DX agreement with a domestic company in Korea.

Based on this partnership, LG CNS will promote businesses such as ▲securing leadership in the domestic enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) market ▲cloud application modernization (AM) ▲total experience (TX) innovation.

First, LG CNS will actively pursue leadership in the domestic enterprise AI market. The main initiatives include the commercialization of AI technologies targeting manufacturing sites, such as supply chain innovation, quality improvement, and operational automation. To this end, LG CNS plans to discover and expand innovative cases based on its AI technology capabilities and Google Cloud’s AI and machine learning services.

LG CNS will also promote AI-based cloud AM business. AM refers to building applications optimized for cloud environments and is a major topic in the industry. LG CNS has secured over 500 AM experts and operates specialized AM organizations such as the ‘Cloud Native Launch Center’ and the ‘Cloud Application Build Center.’ LG CNS plans to expand new AM businesses by combining its AM capabilities with Google Cloud’s AI technology.

Furthermore, TX innovation will be pursued. To this end, LG CNS and Google Cloud will discover hyper-personalized marketing services by combining their strengths in big data and AI/machine learning capabilities. Hyper-personalized marketing goes beyond personalized marketing by predicting customers’ future behaviors and situations to provide the optimal products and services at the right time.

LG CNS has decided to gradually apply and expand Google Workspace integrated with AI to innovate employee experiences for corporate clients. Google Workspace is a cloud-based smart work solution that provides an environment where users can work anytime, anywhere, and on any device.

In addition, LG CNS plans to promote DX technology cooperation with Google Cloud in areas such as smart cities and smart factories, including AI, big data, and edge computing.
