[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Su-yeon] MP Daesan announced on the 23rd that it will simply and physically split its pizza business division into Mr. Pizza.
The split date is set for December 13.
The company stated, "The surviving company and the newly established company after the split will each focus on their respective business divisions to strengthen corporate competitiveness through swift and specialized decision-making tailored to the characteristics of each business. We aim to realize business advancement by enhancing specialized business capabilities," adding, "Through business restructuring, we ultimately seek to increase corporate value and shareholder value."
