This is 22 days later than the global first release date (September 16).
The new products to be released this time are ▲iPhone 14 ▲iPhone 14 Plus ▲iPhone 14 Pro ▲iPhone 14 Pro Max ▲Apple Watch 8 ▲Apple Watch SE ▲Apple Watch Ultra.
Orders can be placed from the 30th through the Apple Store app, authorized resellers, and designated carriers.
The domestic retail prices start at 1,250,000 KRW for the basic iPhone 14, 1,350,000 KRW for the Plus, 1,550,000 KRW for the Pro, and 1,750,000 KRW for the Pro Max. Prices have increased by 160,000 to 260,000 KRW compared to the previous models. The highest-priced model is the Pro Max 1TB at 2,500,000 KRW, which is 330,000 KRW more than its predecessor.
The iPhone 14 series being released this time features a significantly changed front top design on the premium Pro and Pro Max models. The notch design, commonly called the 'M-shaped baldness,' has been removed and replaced with a 'punch-hole' design that only has an opening for the camera module.
The Pro models are also notable for being equipped with the new chip 'A16 Bionic.' The basic iPhone 14 and Plus models are equipped with the same 'A15' chip as the previous generation.
Additionally, all iPhone 14 series models have newly introduced crash detection and emergency SOS via satellite features.
Apple previously started sales on the 16th in first release countries including the United States, Germany, Italy, Singapore, Japan, and China. The second release countries, about 20 including Malaysia and T?rkiye, will begin sales on the 23rd.
