‘Major Queen’ Jeon In-ji “1 Month Absence Due to Shoulder Injury”… ‘Diagnosis: Thoracic Outlet Syndrome’

[Asia Economy Reporter No Woo-rae] 'Major Queen' Jeon In-ji (28, photo) will be absent for one month to treat a shoulder injury.

Jeon In-ji's management company, Bright Future, announced on the 22nd, "After undergoing a detailed examination at a university hospital in Seoul, she was diagnosed with inflammation due to thoracic outlet syndrome," and added, "Following the attending specialist's recommendation for 4 weeks of rest and treatment, she has decided not to participate in LPGA Tour events for the next three weeks." Jeon In-ji will skip the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship, Ascendant LPGA, and Mediheal Championship.

Thoracic outlet syndrome, Jeon In-ji's diagnosis, is a condition where blood vessels and nerves under the clavicle are compressed, causing pain in the arm and hand. Jeon In-ji is preparing to return at the LPGA Tour BMW Ladies Championship, which opens on October 20 in Wonju, Gangwon Province. In June, she won the major KPMG Women's PGA Championship, marking her fourth career victory. Of her four wins, three have been in major tournaments, earning her the title of 'Major Hunter.'
