Jeongeup-si Agricultural Technology Center Hosts 'Companion Plant Repotting Experience Event'

[Jeongeup=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeongeup City Agricultural Technology Center in Jeonbuk (Director Jeon Jeonggi) announced on the 22nd that it will promote a repotting experience event for healthy companion plant care.

The repotting experience is an event to learn how to care for companion plants that are effective in indoor air purification and to understand the importance of repotting by directly experiencing repotting.

As outdoor activities have been restricted due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and the time spent indoors has increased, interest in companion plants has grown, so this event was prepared to help the growth and management of companion plants.

During the event, there will be a time to solve questions that participants have had while raising companion plants through consultations such as plant condition diagnosis, pruning, and fertilizing.

In addition, education on care methods according to plant types will be provided to help participants grow companion plants healthily.

The event is scheduled to be held at the Indoor Gymnasium on the 27th, the Volunteer Center on the 28th, and the Youth Culture and Sports Center on the 5th of next month.

The applicants are about 50 Jeongeup citizens who are raising companion plants and need repotting.

A representative of the Technology Center said, "This experience program was prepared to provide some help to citizens who have difficulties in cultivating and managing companion plants," and added, "We hope that proper companion plant cultivation will help with air purification effects, mental stability, and enhancement of life vitality."
