Second NFT Release by Artist MayKim Scheduled at 12 PM on the 22nd in 'CCCV NFT'

Simmons Bed will issue the second edition of the 'OSV' NFT, which led the 'spacing out' craze, today at 12 PM.

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Simmons Bed is launching its second non-fungible token (NFT), continuing its streak of consecutive sellouts. The NFT artwork, first introduced on the 15th as the industry's first in the bed and furniture sector, sold out within a day, achieving great popularity.

Simmons is collaborating with three young creative artists representing the MZ generation (Buwon, Maykim, and Cha In-cheol) to sequentially release digital art NFTs from the 2022 brand campaign "Oddly Satisfying Video (OSV)." Starting with Buwon on the 15th, followed by Maykim on the 22nd, and Cha In-cheol on the 29th.

This NFT is inspired by two digital art pieces from the 2022 brand campaign "OSV" (Pool in California, The Pump), which surpassed 20 million views on YouTube in less than a month after its release.

Maykim is renowned as an artist who breaks genre boundaries and presents a unique artistic perspective. In this collaboration, Maykim used 3D video to create a distinctive expression that reinterprets the core theme of OSV, "spacing out," completing a work unique to Maykim.

Maykim's two NFTs will be available on the 22nd at 12 PM on the NFT open market "CCCV NFT," operated by blockchain specialist company BlockoXYZ. Notably, holders of these NFT artworks will receive benefits such as "artist talks and Q&A sessions." Following this, Cha In-cheol's NFT artwork will be unveiled on the 29th at 12 PM.
