Special Training Conducted for 119 Safety Center Chiefs and Rescue Team Leaders
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Kim Joil) is making every effort to eradicate power harassment within the organization and to foster proper values among public officials.
Jeonnam Fire announced that it conducted special training to eradicate power harassment on the 19th and 20th at the Jeonnam Women and Family Foundation conference room.
The training was organized to analyze the current status of power harassment nationwide amid its emergence as a social issue and to disseminate related cases in order to prevent similar acts within the organization in advance.
The training was presided over by the Fire Audit Officer of the Fire Headquarters, with 90 participants including the heads of 119 Safety Centers and rescue team leaders from 20 fire stations.
At the session, the definition of power harassment, prevention of workplace power harassment, and response methods for various situations were introduced.
Additionally, Police Officer Im Wookseop from the Jeonnam Police Agency was invited as an external expert lecturer to share cases from other institutions, followed by discussions among employees to foster a correct understanding and awareness improvement regarding power harassment.
A representative from the Fire Audit Officer’s office said, “We hope this special training will be of some help in eradicating power harassment within the organization and in forming proper values as public officials.”
